Hearken back to ye days of old, when there were mighty men of valor in search of conquest and glory!
The Knight Book contains detailed, step-by-step instructions, patterns, and full color pictures to create one-of-a-kind duct tape weapons, helmets, armor and costumes.
All the weapons and armor are based on the Medieval time period. Real knights of ancient history would have used these weapons (of course, not made of duct tape!)
Act out ancient history with the flail, mace, shield and helmets and other great items. The Knight Book is an awesome resource for any study of the Medieval era!
The Knight Book includes historical details about the weapons in the book…
Zweihander – The zweihander, a late medieval weapon, was extremely long and heavy. It was necessary to use two hands when fighting with this sword. It was used principally by the Germans, which explains the German name. A version of this sword was used by the Scottish for centuries and was called the claymore.
War Hammer – The war hammer was used almost exclusively by knights. This was a specialist weapon that could be used to pierce armor with its thin, but strong, blade. Though not often used, it was rather effective. Knights would often go for the easy-to-use sword or spiked battle axe, instead of the war hammer.
